Step Back In Time: A Colonial Collaboration With Albrecht Events
Philadelphia is a city rich in history and American culture, so getting the opportunity to create and event incorporating these aspects was an amazing experience. We were honored that Albrecht Events brought us on board to help with the decor for their Colonial Event at the brand new Museum of the American Revolution. We always have a fantastic experience collaborating with them, and this event gave us the opportunity to go back in time and create something special!
Invite Your Guests To Lounge Out!
One of our favorite parts of this event were the lounge spaces. We brought in brick facade walls that we spruced up with some tobacco baskets, vintage ladders, a watering can, and a hat from the revolutionary time period. We also brought in some small fireplaces to create an inviting atmosphere for the event guests. Maggpie Rentals brought in some unique couches and chests to pull the look together. We are so excited about the final result!
Details Are Everything!
With this event, the details were essential. We wanted to embrace the colonial theme in every way we could. For the centerpieces on the hightop tables, we took geometrics (which we love!) and created an old-time feather pen and ink display.
We also paired some of the hightop tables with oil lamps.
Lighting Lighting Lighting!
For this event we used a breakout pattern with uplights to create a unique ambiance at the Museum of the American Revolution.
Centerpieces & More!
For our centerpieces, we wanted to pair different greens with subtle hints of white. The vintage glass helped to bring together each centerpiece, and we love how each arrangement came together! We also decided to pull the colonial theme into the front lobby where guests arrived. We placed ferns into vintage colonial drums accompanied by other ferns wrapped in burlap.
Special thank you to Albrecht Events for letting us be a part of this fabulous collaboration!
