ILEA LIBERTY AWARDS GALA 2017

This past weekend, our team had the pleasure of attending the ILEA Liberty Awards Gala at the brand new Museum of the American Revolution! ILEA is the International Live Events Association, which is a "global community of thousands of creative event professionals whose skills, expertise and experience power some of the most influential live events around the world." Submitting in some of their categories, we were hopeful to take home an award for our hard work in 2016--and we ended up coming out with five!

To start off the night, our President, Katie Robinson, was awarded one of the ILEA Rising Star Awards! Her hard work and dedication to creating amazing events and her "down for whatever" attitude made her an excellent candidate, and we are so proud of her! Katie serves on the ILEA Board for the 2017-2018 board as the VP of Programs and Education.

The first award DFW Event Design was awarded was "Best Event Design and Decor". We were awarded this honor for Meghan and Samuel's wedding at Holly Hedge Estate. This amazing couple was so fun to work with, and they gave us a ton of creative freedom to make their day special. We also won "Best Wedding Event" for them as well. See photos below from their perfect winter wedding!

The next award we won was for the "Thank You Reception" for the volunteers of the DNC 2016. We won "Best Social Event (Non Wedding)" and "Best ILEA Team Effort" for this event with Albrecht Events and Jordan Brian Photography. We could not imagine a better group of professionals to work with, and we are so happy to have won these awards with them!

The ILEA Liberty Awards was such a fun event, and we were honored to not only be there, but also earn these awards. Congratulations to all of the 2017 award winners, and the new ILEA Philadelphia Chapter Board! We had an amazing time, and we can't wait to build up our portfolio for next year!
