Meghan is a truly special client because we were lucky enough to have had her mother, Maureen, as a client the year prior to her wedding! Maureen and Meghan are an amazing duo- but two very different women ;) Maureen's wedding was very elegant, romantic, and classic, where Meghan's was more rustic chic- but they both shared a very vintage vibe. We were so excited with how much free-range Meghan gave us in creating her reception space. From the lighting, to the draping, to the centerpieces, and everything in between, we completely transformed the ballroom.
We started by switching out the lights in the chandeliers and sconces, to vintage Edison bulbs. Over the coarse of three days, we brought in 20 Christmas trees and used them as a back drop for the ceremony, scenery in the cocktail tent, and then cut up the rest to be incorporated in the ballroom. With the christmas tree trimming's and other varying greens, we hung arrangements from the bar, the chandeliers, the sconces, and from our installation over which hung glass globes and LED candles over the dance floor. We were so thrilled our bride and groom were able to dance the night away under their dream structure.
Meghan and Sam- we had so many laughs, and were so glad we got to be part of such an amazing transformation.. and a ridiculously fun party!
Oh and did we mention they had to have a taco truck at the after party? A couple after our own hearts!
