Lane & Peter

Rehoboth beach country club - rehoboth beach, de

Lane & Peter attending a previous wedding we planned at Congress Hall in Cape May, NJ. Lane sent an email right after attending the wedding and told Katie "I NEED YOU". Katie laughed and said well I am available for your date so let's get together. Lane immediately booked us and we started on the journey of planning.

Lane was going through chemo at the time and didn't want the added stress of planning a wedding. We definitely swooped in and made sure she didn't have to worry about much! As soon as I met Lane in person I knew how big of a heart she had. She always made sure everyone else was taken care of. Our main goal for the day other then throwing her the best party ever was to make sure she was the one being taken care of!

Lane and Peter met through a mutual friend Richard who just so happened to be a previous groom of ours. Lane's family had a beach house in Rehoboth so she knew she wanted a summer wedding at Rehoboth Beach Country Club where her parents are members.

The weekend was packed with excitement from the welcome party at their house on the bay, to the relaxed environment of getting ready at their family home followed by the seller ceremony and reception. Lane's mother surprised them at the ceremony and we timed it out perfect as they said their vows we had a plane with a banner behind that read, "Congrats Lane & Peter" fly over head and circle 3 times. It was a great surprised. Cocktail hour was hosted outside under the tent where guests enjoyed food along with a signature Orange or grapefruit crush in personalized cups that said "It all started with a... CRUSH". Lane and Peter met each other at a bar in rehoboth after being introduced and Peter bought her an orange crush. The rest we say is history!

Everyone danced the night away under some lighting provided by yours truly and music by their amazing band Dreamtime. As if that was not enough as guests left they grabbed a slice of Grotto's pizza before entering onto the bus back to their hotels downtown.
