Ami & Jayneel came to us through a venue recommendation. In our initial meeting Jayneel expressed how he would like to incorporate a "kite and key theme". We knew we wanted to come up with creative ways to incorporate and merge the style of The Franklin Institute and Ben Franklin, that was unlike anyone else's. We came up with 3 different centerpieces. The first one, using apothecary vases of different sizes filled with restoration hardware lights that all came down to a key and half a globe. We had a personalized kites made using their own custom wedding logo to finish of the look. For the second, we created custom lampshades with famous quotes pertaining to Philadelphia shining through. Lastly, they had pillar candles in varying height vases with loose vintage keys around the bases. The tables were finished off with a kite shaped menu card to tie it all together.
The menu for the evening consisted of family recipes from India that the chef executed to perfection! Guests danced the night away to a fusion of hiphop and traditional Indian music. Perfect setting, perfect couple, perfect evening!
On the way out of the venue, guests did not leave empty handed. They enjoyed a sweet treat from the Mister Softee ice cream truck!
Ami + Jayneel- You two are amazing. We couldn't be luckier to have had the opportunity to meet you and gain such wonderful friends. #pinkrager
